Post Bomb Cyclone Walk

I used to really love the winter. In many ways I still do, but as a parent it changes things a little bit. There are inherently less things you can do to entertain your kids. Especially when you get hit with a bomb cyclone, you end up being inside a lot. Somedays, like today, you just need to get out and walk a bit, even though it is still cold. We lasted as long as we could before the cold got to us, especially Ardens hands, but the fresh air was great.

River is getting so big, so fast. It makes me incredibly proud but so sad at the same time. She is turning into a little lady.

I won’t let a power outage keep me from having coffee. Coleman camp stove and Aeropress to the rescue.

The Dinosaur Park

On of my favorite parts of my week is Saturday morning with my kids. Its a great time for us to just have fun and spend some good time together. One of our favorite things to do is go to the “Dinosaur Park”. Its this park near our house that has a dinosaur theme. Today was absolute beautiful and we spend most of our visit just swinging and laying in the grass. It was a good day.
