Nathan here. I am currently sitting in our camper and the weather app on my iPhone says it is 37 degrees outside. We don't have heat in our camper yet due to a missing part (that I will replace by tonight...hopefully) so we are crazy cold right now. We are trying to get packed up and out of here as soon as we can so that we can get in the heat of my Jeep.
We had a wonderful weekend that ended the perfect way with BadBones IV, a little concert/party in the woods with so many people we love. Our goodbyes were so hard that I don't even want to write about it right now. One of the most difficult things we have ever had to do. We are starting a new adventure though and we are very excited about it.
Yesterday morning before leaving (about 5 hours later than we wanted to) we stopped at the beach one last time. Courtney collected some sand for some Christmas ornaments she wants to make and then we hit the road.
This is our rig. It is way heavier than I wish it was. We can't really drive any faster than 60. Courtney cleared some stuff out last night that hopefully will take out a little weight. This is our life for the next 4 days.
Our first stop was a little town right in the hook of the pan-handle called Panacea Fl. We camped right on a river that leads into the Gulf of Mexico. It was a beautiful place that gave us the most amazing sunset. We had pizza and beer for dinner and then cuddled up and shivered our way through the night.
Thanks for following along with us. Provided we have internet access at the next campground we will update you again, hopefully from New Orleans.
